How to read anything in this section
The rest of this site is built on cited research. This section is built on doing the work, which is a weaker kind of evidence. The rules below exist so you can tell the difference.
Dated and versioned
Every note records when it was written and which version of which tool it describes. Tooling moves monthly; a walkthrough without a date is worthless.
Ownership disclosed inline
Where a workflow uses a product we own, it says so at that point in the text — not in a footer nobody reads.
Comparisons run on a stated method
We do compare our own tools against competitors — with the criteria published before testing, the same tests applied to every tool, and losses reported as readily as wins. No 'top 10' listicles, which pretend to be neutral surveys.
Failures included
A workflow note that only describes the happy path is marketing. Where something broke, the note says what broke.
